Strategi Pengelolaan Sampah Plastik di Komunitas Urban : Pendekatan Edukasi dan Teknologi

Abstract

Managing plastic waste in urban communities is becoming a big challenge along with the increase in population and public consumption. Plastic waste, which is difficult to decompose, contributes to serious environmental problems. This article examines plastic waste management strategies in urban communities by combining educational and technological approaches. The educational approach aims to increase public awareness about the importance of reducing plastic waste through outreach and training programs. Meanwhile, technology offers innovative solutions, such as digital-based waste management applications, the use of automatic waste sorting machines, and the use of efficient recycling technology. The results of this research show that the combination of education and technology can increase community participation in managing plastic waste and reduce the environmental impact it causes. This research provides recommendations for the government and urban communities to implement more effective plastic waste management strategies by involving various related parties.
